  • Clean heat exchanger and firebox.
  • Remove glass, clean glass, and inspect gasket and glass.
  • Vacuum logs, remove logs, and inspect logs for cracked and broken logs.
  • Clean and inspect burner and pilot orifice.
  • Clean and inspect thermocouple and thermopile.
  • Test unit and controls (verifying proper flame pattern).
  • Test convection blower.
  • Replace batteries in remote and receiver.
  • Check wall switch (if applicable).
  • Inspect wiring connections.
